Step-by-step help for setting up and running dual enrollment.

Find and filter ongoing requirements

Who this is for

College Administrator, College Workflow Reviewer

Requires permission for each list you open

Ongoing requirements accumulate across every instructor a college works with, and the full list is too long to read. Two places show them, the Ongoing Requirements page and an instructor's own course profile, each with its own Term and Type filters.

Before you start

  • Each list has its own permission. The Ongoing Requirements page shows the ongoing requirements you are permitted to read at your college. The Ongoing Requirements section on an instructor’s course profile shows what you are permitted to read on that instructor’s course reviews. Without the relevant permission a list appears empty rather than partly filled, so an empty list can mean a permission gap rather than no work outstanding.
  • Both lists filter the same way. Pick a Term, a Type, or both. They apply together, so you see only the requirements matching both.
  • The Type list is built from the requirement types your college actually uses, in alphabetical order, with All Types to clear it.

Filtering the Ongoing Requirements page

  1. Open Ongoing Requirements from your college workspace. This is the full list across all instructors.
  2. Choose a Term.
  3. Choose a Type, for example Site Visit, Syllabus Update, or Grade Submission.
  4. Narrow further with the other filters if you need to: instructor status, high school, step, document type, due-date range, and a name search. Colleges that assign course reviewers also get a course reviewer filter and a reviewer status filter.

Filtering one instructor’s ongoing requirements

  1. Open Instructors, then the instructor you want.
  2. Go to Courses. The Ongoing Requirements section lists that instructor’s requirements.
  3. Choose a Term, a Type, or both. The list updates as soon as you choose.

This page refreshes itself periodically, and your filters stay applied when it does.

What success looks like

The table shows only the requirements matching your selections, and the Type column of every row matches the type you picked.

If this doesn’t work

You picked a type and the table came back empty. The Type list offers every requirement type your college uses anywhere, not only the types this instructor has. An empty table means there are no requirements of that type in the term you selected. That is a real answer, not an error; switch to All Types to confirm.

A type you have just started using is not in the Type list. The list of types is refreshed periodically rather than on every page load, so a type used for the first time can take up to 12 hours to appear. The requirements themselves are visible straight away under All Types.

The two lists remember your Type choice differently. On the Ongoing Requirements page, Term and Type are both remembered and still applied the next time you open it, which is worth checking whenever the table looks shorter than you expect. On an instructor’s course profile, Term is remembered but Type returns to All Types every time. On either list, a saved link carrying a type your college no longer uses falls back to All Types.

There is no Ongoing Requirements section on an instructor’s profile at all. For instructors who are college faculty rather than high school teachers, this section appears only if your college has asked for it. Contact your DualEnroll representative.

Check an instructor’s credential review

Contact your DualEnroll representative. They can confirm your permissions, check whether the section is switched on for college faculty at your college, and tell you which requirement types your college is set up to use.
